have you tried getting something to hold on to the head of the stud on the back side of the wheel hub.

i guess it matters if it front or rear but if you cant get something to hold on to it maybe you can get a punch lined up so you can try you hit the stud back into the hole so it gets some grip on the splines and stops spinning
