Remove your check level plug and see if any fluid seeps out. If not stick your pinky in there and see if fluid is only JUST below the hole.

What does it look like? Smell like? If it isn't reasonably red or smells burnt, go ahead and replace the fluid.

Remove the drain plug. Most likely there will be some fine metal shavings on the magnetic tip. Wipe those off of the tip.

Put the drain plug back in and start refilling. Again, only fill it transmission up until it slightly oozes out. Put the check plug back in and let 'er roll.

There won't be any issues unless you were about to have issues anyhow.
