Re: Fast flicking left turn signal
my truck did this, left and right, after we installed the body lift. Josh and I looked for a couple hours, and couldn't find anything wrong -- all the bulbs worked, no shorts, no bared wires, all the grounds were in place...
I lived with the fast blinking (turn signals only - the 4-ways flashed normally) for a month or so.
Then, one day while I was outside working and had the radios playing for a while, the battery got low enough to reset my radio/clock. There was just enough juice left to turn the truck over, so it started up. ...then, I noticed my blinkers were now working properly! Apparently, there's something in the GEM (or it's equivalent in newer Rangers) that has to do with the turn signals.
summary: disconnect your battery, wait 10 minutes, then hook it back up. see if that 'fixes' the turn signal issue...
