Well, to start, I wanted a new Tacoma, but the prices have gotten out of control for a pick up truck!
I bought my first Ranger Monday. It has to be picked up from out of state as I wanted a specific color (white) and the XLT package. I hope to have it this week end.
Priced right. When I test drove a Ranger, it felt like my first Tacoma back in 1989. Simple, functional, comfortable.
I have no plans for any mods yet. When the tires wear out I will look into bigger tires.
I plan to have it rust proofed and put a bed liner in it right away.I am trading in a diesel Jeep Liberty. I LOVE the diesel but not the Jeep. Plus I want a truck again. Nice to be able to throw things in the back.
I was a heavy truck, heavy collision tech for almost 30 years. I now am an insurance adjuster for an insurance company thet writes commercial truck (largest in the country).
I look forward to many years of trouble free use from the new Ford.
I had an F150 back in 1979 and I remember it to be very dependable.
