Re: ABS problem
As of today what I thought was fixed is now worse than ever! This time the "check engine" warning light came on while the engine was sputtering as bad as it ever has!
I am thinking the oxygen sensors probably must be changed since I have been having carbon build-up on my right tail pipe. I have changed them in the past and have many thousands of miles on them so it's worth a try in my mind.
I just added my third container of White Shepard a few days ago which appeared to correct the problem but this morning when I started the beast up; the sputtering was worse than ever!
I also pulled the plugs and all but the right front were fine.
The right front had oil on it which is not surprising because ever since the local garage replaced the heads I have been having plug fouling with that front right cylinder...that's why I've been adding White Shepard.
It won't do anything for fouled oxygen sensors and my cousin tells me there is no way to clean an oxygen sensor so it looks like it's time for that.
Perhaps that will solve the problem....hopefully!
