No, it's not. The AK47 is a fully automatic machine gun made from the original manufacturer, Izhmash, in Russia. Any variant/look-alike of this gun would not qualify it as an AK-47 simply because IT IS NOT ONE. You may call it an AK-style rifle, however, it is not a true AK-47 unless it meets the original blueprint standards.

For example, if I went out and bought an M&M AK style rifle which was semi-automatic and didn't chamber the same round as original AK's it would not be an AK; It would be AK-style.

Sorry, but unless they are specifically called an AK-47 they are not one.
