Probably could mod out which forums have the thanks buttons... but my original points still stand.
Rep systems destroy forums IMHO. Only ones I've seen that seem okay are where user rep is a status instead of a number (eg: great, good, bad). But IMHO, that still causes members to get all fixated on their reps, and reps of others... and creates way too much drama & tension.
I like things simple. We are here to enjoy ourselves while enjoying our vehicle interests. No need to make things more complicated.
