I have a 1993 Ford Ranger and just recently it has gotten a lot of play in the 5 speed gear shifter. It has 104,000 miles and I bought it new. When you go from 2nd gear to 3rd gear especially it has a lot of left to right play in the shifter(Vise versa) and it didn't have that not long ago. The clutch seems fine as it engages not near the top and it shifts ok just a lot of extra play it didn't use to have. Thanks for any help.
