You have a 2000, so it might be different, but mine has one screw in the interior door handle, and one (or maybe two) at the bottom of the door. You also have to remove the window crank. Pop the cover up with a flathead screwdriver, then there's a Torx screw inside that holds the crank on. After that, the panel should just lift straight up.
