Ok, I have had the "System too lean bank 1 & 2" code for like 1,000 miles now. I have changed the air filter, cleaned the MAF and changed the thermostat. Each time I have done these things, I have disconnected the negative on the battery to work on it. HERE IS THE WEIRD THING; every time I reconnect the battery and go to start the truck, it just sputters and eventually dies. I found that if I put it in like Neutral or Drive then back to Park, it will change the idle. I end up having to start it like 15-20 times before it finally starts. Then it runs fine after that. Any ideas? Is it just the simple fact that the computer is all messed up when I disconnect the battery? Thanks everyone!!
