Keep us posted. Seafoaming would be a good idea at this point too before trying to yank off the EGR. Fuel pressure relieving is kind of optional, it just reduces mess and keeps fuel from shooting into your eyes. If the truck has been sitting overnight, the pressure will be relieved anyway. I always just wait a day then change it and not bother with the fuse. I don't like stalling out my engine.
