It is a perfectly straight stretch of road with good line of sight for long distance. Chances are his radar was locked on you for quite some time. If you did as you say and floored it, its unlikely he was locked on someone else going faster. So the SODDI defense is pretty much out the window.

So this boils down to two possible scenarios:

1) You were going that fast whether you admit it or not.
2) His radar was completely wrong

It will be a tough sell in court.

He was not going the opposite direction. There was no one going that way the whole time. from 1 stop light to the other.

I am not denying I was speeding. I just have issues with the speed he says I was going. I know I was not going that fast and my GPS backs it up regardless if they wanna believe it or not.
