Cheap & suspension lift are two words that should never be put together. A 'cheap suspension lift' is never going to be a good thing in the long run.

Save up a little more in order to do it properly, or just go with a body lift and be done with it.

It's more expensive to do it properly. That's why many people (and the vast majority of all '98+ Ranger 4x4's) opt for a body lift - they don't need the 'full-on' suspension lift for what they are after.

Exactly.

Its 'expensive' to do properly with a true suspension lift. And no, properly isn't just slapping on some aftermarket keys or cranking them sky-high and cobbling together the back end.

My two cents:

Suspension Lift: Just because a suspension lift is 'cheap', doesn't meant it's worth a damn.

Body Lift: For 80%-90% of the '98+ 4wd Ranger community a body lift will provide the combination of form & function most are after perfectly fine.
