Yeah look up axle codes for explorer and go to the junkyard and get the one with 31 spline, disc brakes, posi rearend and it will be a 8.8 with 4.10, Great upgrade from stock. It's what I'm gonna do soon. Mine has 7.5 3.73 and it doesn't like my 31s. You have to relocate the spring perches but if you do that and use the explorer springs you'll get 3 inch lift in rear.
