Default Re: Vacuum line problem with pics

Update

Replaced the DPSE sensor. The 2 different hose sizes was obvious since the hose barbs coming out from the exhaust manifold area where 2 different sizes as well. At the time I bought my parts I didn't know about the EGR valve itself so I didn't buy a new one. I removed and cleaned and polished the valve movement and then tested with a shopvac actually and the diaphragm clearly had movement under vacuum. Everything is running much better now. Most noticeable is my acceleration. Haven't driven it enough yet to tell if fuel economy had improved. Still have a check engine light on though but it could be anything. Haven't scanned at all for codes yet. Next thing to do.
