Just got the a new ranger a 2002. I put the 1990 in the garage and will slowly be working on some engine troubles as money permits.
So on to my new truck and new ?'s
When I first test drove the truck it had a really sloppy front end and was almost undriveable. So I spoke to the sales man and he told me of how there shop will give the truck a good looking over if I desided to buy it and take care of what ever it needed. And they did, almost ever front end part is new also new shocks. Now when I test drove the truck I looked it over really good because I din't want to miss a thing and took notice to the fact that it sat level on a level road. It had no driveside lean or sag or anything. But after buying the truck after all the front end work was done the rear now sit's about 1 1/2 in lower then the front of the truck. I never checked how the truck was sitting after the work till after I payed for it and was at home.
So what should I do ? Shackle ? New rear springs ? helper spring ? bigger Block ? Whats the best way level my truck ? Like I said it's about 1 1/2 lower in the rear. Thats useing a tape from the inside of the wheel well in the front and then in the rear to the ground in a pretty level parking lot. I would not be apposed to the rear sitting about an inch higher then the front but it looks dumb as sin the way it is.
Thanx
