Well I finally fiogured it out... Aparently ford made a ranger option in 1987 with a standard cab STX that had an aditional 1.5"s of lift and a 2.9 liter engine that had alittle more power than other STX's... IT also came with a brush gaurd and fold away mirrors... Never knew that before... Thats why I kept coming across that option when lkookinbg up suspension parts and shocks... Learn something everyday I guess...
