Re: Adding cruise control
If u have a 98-2004 ranger first check to see if it is prewired for cruise...look by the windshield reservoir an attached to the inner fender is a wiring harness..that is for the cruise servo..if u have that then u are pre wired.
Next u will need a stock oem cruise servo with cable and a master brake cylinder with the cruise control input plug, and a steering wheel clockspring and cruise buttons....my stock steering column wasnt tilt..so i just swapped in a whole column with tilt and everything.
Your best bet for all this is your local junkyard...pull from a ranger or explorer.
