Yeah, use a digital volt ohm meter (DVOM) you should have anywhere over 12.4 volts and it should be fine in my experience. But that doesn't mean that you don't have a bad cell in it. You can also get a battery load test done. I'd go talk to your local parts house about that, they would also be able to check you battery voltage too.
