Thats exactly what happened with me, as soon as the temps dropped, my started started chugging and taking longer to start the engine, eventually it would just click once, I had to park on hills and pop start for a week before I changed it. It was such a pain in the ass getting one of the bolts off. Had to use a breaker bar and an extension, which I don't own, I had to borrow a friends.
