or do what I do and push down on the red seat belt release when it starts dinging...shuts it up every time.
Wait your talking about the chime when you first start it up...I never thought of that as a seat belt reminder and hardly even hear it anymore(got use to it). This isn't just a ford thing either, its in most vehicles so don't go jumping off the Ford ship just because of this! Theres probably a relay or fuse that you can pull to stop the chime somewhere.
