Some people on FB leave an excessive number of status updates, and for the most unecessary shit. This includes some of my own friends.

Do you really need to post that you're gonna watch your favorite team's game before the game starts, then in the middle of the game write another update cheering them on, then make more updates for anything substantial that happens during the game, and when the game is over, make yet ANTOTHER update either bragging or bitching about the outcome? Good God man, grab some common sense along with that beer.
