I went out and bought a new timing belt for my 2000 L4 2.5 engine. I didn't get started until late afternoon due to many other chores, less than half done today. Up to the point of removing old belt but tension pulley wouldn't budge. Decided to come back to it tomorrow. I've changed the timing belt on a Porsche 928, how hard could a Ford four-banger be?
