Re: How much to lift my truck
So honestly, you are the one who has to infinitely decide on how much you want to lift your truck. You can buy a 3" Body lift, but the downfall to that is the exposed frame. A BL will cost around $200. You can buy a 3" Spindle lift which is a suspension lift. The Spindle kit also comes with Add-A-Leafs for the rear-end. Or you can go about it the cheaper way, which I don't recommend, because first of all, its more work, second of all, it's not much cheaper. The cheap way is to get coil spacers for the front, and blocks for the rear. Doing it this way, you will need new shocks. Being that your truck is an 01, it most likely needs new shocks anyways. You will also most likely need to buy new UCA's. Blocks also make your ride bumpier. Your truck with a 3" body lift will fit 33's, but very tightly, with some rub. IMHO it looks too stuffed. You can have many combinations of lifts on your truck, its just up to you.
