Completely untrue! The group I hunt with shot a ton of geese last year (we had over 130 pounds of breast meat). We made goose summer sausage & goose and wild rice brats. They were delicious! and we also did some dinner dishes were we slice the breast into thin slices and soak them in a variety of marinades then cook them on the grill. Depending how you do this you can make goose fajitas to soyvey goose to bbq goose. Al delicious.
Although I do prefer duck to geese
But I prefer a well cooked goose to store bought deli meat
